Buyer Representation

Buying a practice is a major personal and professional decision. We act as your trusted advisor to help you attain the practice you want, guide you through closing, and set you up for success from day one as a new business owner.

When working with a doctor or dentist looking to buy a practice we start with two questions:

  • Where do you want to live and work?
  • How do you picture yourself practicing in 5, 10, or 20 years?

What we learn from these questions help us better understand someone’s personal and professional aspirations and serves as the starting point when working with a doctor or dentist interested in purchasing a practice. We remember to keep each buyers specific answers close to mind for each throughout the entirety of our relationship.

Once we have a vision of how you would like to practice in the future, we come back to the now and build a search parameter unique to the specific buyer.  This includes helping you better understand your current financial position, gauge your clinical skills and other professional experience, evaluate your risk tolerance, consider potential financing options, and several other factors which might be important to an individual buyer in their search.

We always work to present a buyer with multiple options so that they are able to make a more informed decision before choosing to purchase a practice.

Structure & Close

Once a practice is identified, we quarterback the closing process including:

  • Negotiating the purchase price as well as the key structure and business terms.
  • Conduct a complete business due diligence.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for attorneys, banks, accountants, the seller or any outside parties involved in the transaction.
  • Provide a complete review all documents and legal agreements.
  • Assist with any staffing transition plans.
  • Making sure the you are set up for success from day 1.

Our job is to assist you from beginning to end in the purchase process and help you find, purchase, and successfully operate the practice you always envisioned.
