I am getting very excited and also a little anxious as the Chosen Vision Golf Marathon is only a few days away, 100+ holes of golf in 1 day!
Fairway Healthcare Partners is a proud hole sponsor for the event and Brian is playing for the 3rd time. It’s an extremely long, fun, and fulfilling day, as this is the organization’s primary fundraiser each year. Last year we raised about $100,000, and there are plans in the works to potentially open a 4th home and maybe more with your support.
Chosen Vision allows adults with developmental disabilities to live in a clean, permanent, and safe environment that helps them continue to grow and mature. My cousin Michael has been in the Men’s home for over two years now and our family has noticed tremendous his maturity and independence continually growing. As his mom & dad just told me, “We cannot explain the overwhelming pride we have in his maturation and relief not having to lay awake at night wondering what kind of living situation we would be able to find for him.” Words are truly not enough to capture the impact that an organization like this can have on an individual like Michael and his family’s life. Please consider support Chosen Vision, no amount is too small and I can personally tell you I will be touched and honored with every dollar. Here is the Chosen Vision website, http://chosenvision.org/ if you’re interested in learning more.
My participant page is http://events.marathonfundraisers.org/golf/gfcv/participants/participant/295 if you would be willing to make a donation for this year’s event.
Maybe even better for any business owners out there, we have also donated to Jeff and plan on cashing in our sales coaching session soon after the event. All the money goes towards the same pot so feel free to skip me and take advantage of Jeff’s offer https://www.jeffbajorek.com/fore-great-cause/ or http://events.marathonfundraisers.org/golf/gfcv/participants/participant/297
Please let me know of any questions! Thanks in advance for your support.

I’m happy to announce that I was able to complete 100 holes on Monday. With the help of all of our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers we successfully raised over $81,000 during this year’s tournament, AMAZING for Chosen Vision and their residents.
Couple quick notes: We started on number 5 which is a 490 yard par-5, I smashed my best drive of the day and hit the approach to 12-feet for an eagle putt. I subsequently three putted and never had a good look at eagle the rest of the day… For non-golfers, three putting from 12-feet is very bad. We teed off at 7:15 am and got back to the clubhouse at 6:55pm. Our host, The Country Club of Lansing was also holding a qualifier for the Michigan Amateur the next day so the rough was long and the greens were fast.
In total, the number of holes played from the group of golfers ranged from 4 (injured shoulder) to 132! Some highlights of the day included getting to meet many of the Chosen Vision residents including of Michael’s roommates Jordan and James. Jordan insisted on trying on my golf glove and James challenged me to a putting contest when we were taking a lunch break. The Michigan State mascot “Sparty” also made an appearance which was a big hit for many of the Michigan natives.
I’m nearly back to 100% after being extremely sore Tuesday & Wednesday. Have a wonderful long weekend and many thanks and blessings for the support.
